My Activity

I have no recent activity to share.

About Me

I work in the microelectronics industry in sili-con valley of California. If I could do anything, I'd take my family to Italy and learn everything there is to learn about every region of Italian cooking, wine, oil, and so on. My favorite places are those small villages in Sicily during the summer where it seems the entire village comes down to the square every night to socialize.

Favorite Foods

Favorite food: Italian comes to mind for some reason. But anything wholesome that's good except for peas and lima beans. Whoever made those should be shot.

Favorite item to make: tarts and most Italian.

Favorite restaurant: none. There is not one quality pizza place in all of Northern California. And I'm a bit tired of getting sick at Italian restaurants here; not sure why that happens.

Best dog restaurant: Not sure what kind of dog it was but there's a place in Seoul, South Korea that was pretty decent though Fido was a bit stringy - after several shots of soju it was much better.

Best octopus restaurant - InterContinental Hotel, Seoul, South Korea. Octopus still moves on your plate.

Worst restaurant on Earth bar none: the award goes to the pizza place somewhere near Ichon, South Korea. Here's a suggestion for the Ichon "family restaurant"; don't use Heinz ketchup for pizza sauce any more! And large, round saltine crackers really are NOT good substitutes for pizza dough.

Best Italian chefs outside of Italy and NY: Singapore. The best Italian food outside of Italy and NY is in the basement of the hotel around the corner from the Singapore Marriott (forgot the name of the hotel). What a shock that was! But it was the Ritz Carlton chefs that'll make anything you want; on the menu or not. And they have the absolute best service anywhere. Amazing how good service can be.
