My Activity

Reviewed Grandma Neely's Fried Pork Chop Vegetable Soup

"Wow...I was never so disappointed! I thought this was going to be great because the idea is great. It was bland to the point that I couldn't figure out what else to add. I even added a few drops of Tabasco. My honey couldn't even think how to spice it up. I fried the pork chops in a non stick pan (not deep fried as called for.) If I ever try it again, I would dip it in egg also to keep the flour on. I cooked it for over an hour and the potato cubes still were not done. I'm still thinking about what else to do to make it work but I would not follow it as is ever again. Sorry Grandma!"

About Me

Being single for so long, I am only now getting into cooking more often (always on the weekend) and for more than one.  So, I really need to follow a recipe unless it's Italian since I know what to add and delete on a recipe because, for one, I am Italian and am surrounded by great cooks. I watch the Food Network for hours on end right from my desk at work (and the boss knows it).  I'm always printing off recipes and trying new ones weekly.  I am so happy to have that opportunity.
