I just made this recipe and baked the beans for 60 minutes. At the end if the 60 minutes, the bacon and onions were underdone for my taste. I took the lid off and broiled it for three minutes to try to cook the bacon a bit more. Next time I make this recipe I will cook the bacon first and saut��� the onion in the rendered bacon fat before adding...

You can do just a breast using this recipe. I just made one last night. I cut the ingredients in half. I cooked the breast at 500 degrees for 20 minutes and then lowered the temp to 350. It took about 1 1/2 hours for me to cook the breast (sorry, I didn't pay attention to how much it weighed.
