Reviewed Queso Fundido With Roasted Poblano Vinaigrette

 |  By Aida G.

"This was just OK. The vinaigrette however was DELICIOUS! I'm keeping that recipe to use for salad dressing or to serve over grilled chicken or steaks."

Reviewed Korean-Style Marinated Skirt Steak with Grilled Scallions and Warm Tortillas

 |  By Aida G.

"Very good and easy. Leave out the tortillas though if you really want "healthy" as each tortilla (whole wheat or other is about 120 calories. The marinade was very good reduced as another reviewer suggested served over rice."

Reviewed Irish Soda Bread

 |  By Aida G.

"My family thought this bread was very good but a little too sweet to be served at dinner. Next time I would reduce the sugar to 1/2 cup as others have suggested. I like to try most recipes as written the first time and then evaluate any possible changes, but that being said, I did leave out the caraway seeds as I do not like the taste. The bread w ..."

Reviewed Apple Cake "Tatin"

 |  By Aida G.

"This is a wonderful recipe! I've made it using plums, pineapple (delicious! and peaches. It's super easy, versatile, special enough for company and the size is just right. In all the times and variations I've made, it has never failed---but then, Ina's recipes never do!"

Reviewed Barbeque Meatloaf

 |  By Aida G.

"I have been making this EXACT meatloaf recipe for over 35 years and my Mom was making it before that! I don't see how it can be "Paula's recipe"--I got this from my Mom who thinks it was either from a magazine or from Hunt's Tomato sauce. It is delicious though hardly a Paula Deen recipe."

Reviewed Chile-Rubbed Grilled Chicken With Salsa

 |  By Aida G.

"The rub on the chicken was very good but the salsa was barely so-so. I would make the chicken part again and instead make a salsa more like pico de gallo, or for a sweet counterpoint to the spice, a salsa of peaches, cilantro, ginger, lime juice and a bit of brown sugar."

Reviewed Ratatouille

 |  By Aida G.

"This is SOOO delicious! My kids all love vegetables anyway but this will win over even a vegetable hater. The only things I add are 1-2 sliced carrots and 1-2 Tablespoons of kethup, (yes, I know but it adds that certain "zing". We also grate pecorino or parmesan over the top. Tastes great cold the next day, too."

Reviewed Pasta Ponza

 |  (1 person found this helpful) |  By Aida G.

"OOOOOOHHH this is SOOOOO good! Everyone loved it and the flavors were great together.I'm sure I added extra capers,(love them!and did not reserve any pasta water-I just didn't drain the pasta too dry. Next time I'll double the recipe since I think it will be just as delicious cold the next day for lunches. "

Reviewed Chicken-and-Cheese Enchiladas

 |  (1 person found this helpful) |  By Aida G.

"This was just okay though with some tweaking it should improve. The tomatillo sauce was bland and "flat" tasting. Next time I will use more serranos, add some garlic and puree some cilantro in the sauce. I will also add a small amount of the sauce to the filling so it's not so dry."

Reviewed Pasta Primavera

 |  (4 people found this helpful) |  By Aida G.

"This is an easy and delicious meatless entre. I hate goat cheese so I used feta instead and also substituted fresh basil for the mint and used lots of veggies."
