Reviewed Baked Stuffed Haddock Filets

Apr 15, 2014 in null on Food.com

I too am from the coast of southern Maine and have made a baked haddock similar to this recipe for as long as I';ve been married...30 yrs. The only difference is I do not use bread crumbs, just mayo, a sleeve of crushed Ritz crackers, garlic powder a little S&P and top it with butter to bake at 350 for 20-25 mins. In recent years I';ve...

This was good, however, it was very runny and we prefer a much thicker sauce. I will continue with my 'tried & true' Italian pasta sauce with paste added and only two meats and I definitely no pancetta or beef stock...although wine is a given. Thanks Rach but at least we tried it.

I also have to agree with the others...don't post a review if you've modified this for your own personal preference... it, it's really unfair to the original recipe. "

Why The Face...because this isn't a Maine Lobster Roll...it's a kicked up spin on what Jasper thinks the actual world famous Maine lobster roll is. On a scale of 1-5, 5 being the dead on true winner, this falls just short of a 2....cucumbers & tarragon, oh please! Call it what it is, a veggie roll that's been stuffed with lobster from somewhere. ...

Being baked instead of fried, these are absolutely delicious, and healthier too. I have made baked sweet potato fries in the past but the house seasoning and a slightly higher oven temp made these very tasty. Will be making these again and again and again.....Thanks Paula
