Reviewed lemon-garlic shrimp and grits

This recipe is a good one, but I never use instant grits. Ever. Don't know a southerner that does. I don't live in the South anymore, so I usually go with Arrowhead Mills or Anson Mills, which are both sold online. Or pick up the yellow grits "Polenta" at your local Whole Foods / Co-op / Gourmet grocery store.

I made this for my wife for Mother's day as a special dinner. It was a huge hit.

I used grits instead of polenta and only a little bit of cream. The grits stand on their own as a nice side dish, so I've started preparing them that way instead of the usual cheese grits recipes.
