My Activity

Reviewed Beatty's Chocolate Cake

"This cake sinks in the middle. I am an experienced baker and this has happened both times I have made it. I even used a different oven the second time and added the coffee at room temperature instead of "hot". The flavor is good but the chemistry of this recipe is off and sinking in the middle is unacceptable. Won't be making this again!"

Reviewed Roasted Turkey Roulade

"Very disappointed! The figs gave the stuffing a gritty texture and the pinenuts really didn't serve a purpose. The cooking time should have been longer, even though mine registered 150 degrees like her directions, the center pieces were slightly undercooked, ick! It looks pretty but rolling up turkey changes the grain of the meat when you slice it and it was not good. I will stick with a traditional turkey next year.

"Be careful, made this and 150 degrees will give you an undercooked turkey. It ruined our Thanksgiving this year.
