Reviewed Spicy Smoky S'mores Bars

Jun 21, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

WOW! I made these for a work carry-in & they disappeared! I took into consideration the previous reviews by cutting the butter to 1 & 1/2 sticks instead of 2 & used 1/2 salted & 1/2 unsalted. I also used 1/2 semi-sweet & 1/2 milk chocolate. I used 1 pkg cinnamon graham crackers & 1 pkg honey. I used the entire 1/2 tsp chipotle pepper powder & it w"

I made this for a party & was a little nervous about how it would go over. However as the other reviewers stated, it was mild, but very flavorful. Everyone wanted a link to the recipe - they loved it! Thanks, Aarti!"

Reviewed Cornmeal-Crusted Roasted Ratatouille Tart

Aug 1, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

WOW! So simple, yet so tasty. I didn't have shallots on hand, so I used some fresh, crushed garlic which I roasted with along with the veggies. I didn't have eggplant, so I substituted yellow squash. I also added a little fresh rosemary. The basil makes this dish and it looked stunning. We loved it!"

It had some nice fire to it & I cooled it down by serving it over whole wheat couscous & topped it with a dollop of plain Greek-style yogurt. I may tone down the heat next time, so it would be more ki"

Delicious! The combination of the dressing, avocado, and of course - the tuna! - was fantastic! The only thing is, I thought the recipe called for way too much peanut oil, so I'd just reduce that. "

Reviewed Sweet and Spicy Pepitas Popcorn Balls

Nov 3, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

This was my first attempt at making popcorn balls and despite following the recipe to the letter, they did not want to form up into balls. But despite this problem, they were super YUMMY! I would make them again, but this time I would remember to pull out the unpopped popcorn seeds that fell to the bottom of the bowl before adding the pepitas and...
