About Me
I wasn't always into cooking - I would say within the last three years or so, my interest in cooking has really grown. Between watching food network and by just going into the kitchen and trying something new, my skills have really evolved.
I love spending time with my family and friends. I also love animals especially my weimaraner Ruby. Along with cooking, I enjoy gardening, reading, running and going to the movies.
Favorite Foods
Ina Garten is definitely my favorite chef on Food Network - I think I've seen every Barefoot Contessa episode multiple times! :)
I recently went to a friend's party and I made Ina's Sun-Dried Tomato Dip and served it with fresh sourdough bread. It was the most popular item served at the party and there were two guys literally battling for the last bit of it! :) Multiple people have asked me for the recipe since then and everyone raves about it!
My favorite restaurants are Umi in Pittsburgh, PA and The Continental in Philadelphia, PA.
