Let me say first that I cut down the spice in the chicken by cutting the spice mixture in half and then cutting the cayenne in half in the spice mix. I didn't even use all of this spice mixture, since it does say to put a thin layer of spice on 1 side of the chicken and it was still very spicy. I also seeded the serrano chile after I roasted it,"

This was my first attempt at Indian food and this recipe is amazing. My husband, who commented during the cooking of this dinner that we would never make it again due to the mess we made of the kitchen, couldn't quit raving about the finished product. I only used one seeded serrano pepper since the kids are sensitive to spice (perfect for them)...
