I made the dashi broth and then the miso just as directed. It is just what I hoped it would be. I had to order the bonito flakes from Amazon since my grocer didn't have it.

I used this as a starting point for my soup. I omitted the beans and it was still super delicious. Escarole is so nutritious. This is a good way to get it into your diet.

I am NOT an amateur, but making this I did a very dumb thing. I read the recipe wrong and kept thinking "a cup of flour" to make the roux?! That can't be!. Read it again. Added a cup of flour to make the roux. Kept adding broth to account for the thick roux. Finally noticed that the cup of flour was for dredging the shallots, not for making the...

I've made this dish twice. Shrimp, cream, butter, chipotle, how can you go wrong? It's great for when you have friends over because it is a snap to pull together and impressive on the plate. Delicious, too. If not for the calories I'd cook this all the time.

SO fun to make this. I had a small pumpkin from my CSA box and I knew I wanted to make a bread, not pie since I don't like pie. I am taking the loaf to Thanksgiving this week as a gift for my hostess. I made a separate small portion so that I could taste it to make sure it was good. DELICIOUS. I used half almond flour and threw in some ground...

I'm home with a cold today, and it feels awful, but I'm also really bored. So I found this soup recipe and thought I'd give it a go. I'm so glad I did. This is a wonderful and delicious spin on the traditional chicken noodle soup. Combining broth-making with soup-making saves a ton of time. Lemon is a genius addition. I left the beans out, just...

Great recipe. I had some fresh herb: basil, parsley, and cilantro in place of tarragon. I reduced the olive oil to cut calories and used a little white wine to help thin the sauce. Really flavorful
