Reviewed blueberry scones with lemon glaze

Dec 5, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

These scones are fantastic! The first time I've ever made scones and it was pretty easy. However, my dough didn't mix as smoothly as Tyler's in the video. I had to add a few drops of extra cream and I had a hard time getting it to blend evenly without mashing the blueberries too much. Regardless, they turned out great. I used frozen blueberries...

Mar 16, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

These were SO GOOD! So simple and easy to make. If you only want 3 or 4 potatoes, you can make what you want. I used small red potatoes because that's what I had and they were delicious, so crispy and tender. Will definitely be making again and again!!!

Reviewed the best green beans ever

These were excellent. I didn't have the red bell pepper, but we didn't miss it. Great flavor and crispness. They will be a regular side dish for my family, simply wonderful!

Reviewed Mini Meatball Sandwiches

Jan 22, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I thought these were good, but not really as good as I expected they would be. I thought the meatballs themselves were a little, and I hate to say it, bland. Maybe using seasoned bread crumbs would have made them a bit tastier? I agree with others that the rolls are key, I used Heiner's dinner rolls and they got pretty soggy.

Jun 1, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I thought this was very good. I wouldn't rate it as excellent, but good enough to make it again. It was a fresh change of pace and something fun for the early summer. I, like others, also thought the icing was a little too sweet. So after adding the 5 Tablespoons of lemonade concentrate, I squeezed some of the fresh lemon juice in the icing, p"

May 6, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was fantastic. The only change I made was I added about a half a packet of taco seasoning to the cooked, drained ground beef to give it a little more flavor. It was a little messy to make, but very good. The leftovers were even better the next day! A keeper!"

This soup was excellent. Great flavor, lots of spices and broth which i like. I didn't have a soup pot big enough, so be sure to use a LARGE soup pot. Mine was almost overflowing so I actually had to take out some of the broth. I used the potatoes, green beans, carrots, corn, peas, onions, macaroni and celery. There would have been plenty of "

My daughter and I made this for her birthday. It was excellent, very moist with great flavor. I followed the recipe exactly, used unsalted butter. But I made regular cream cheese icing instead of the icing listed above after reading some of the reviews. I'll definitely be making this one again."

I thought these were pretty good. I was surprised as I'm not a huge Rachel Ray fan, but we liked them. I did 1 lb. ground chicken and 1/2 pound mild italian sausage. They had good flavor and I liked the spice. I thought they were even better the next day as leftovers."

Reviewed Fried Onion Rings with Chili Sauce

Mar 1, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

These onion rings were fantastic! The sauce is a must. The only thing I did different was I soaked the onions in buttermilk and then dredged them in the 2 cups of flour with the teaspoon of seasoned salt, then fried them. They were as good as any you would have in a restaurant, in fact they were better. My family loved them!"

This chicken was a big disappointment. My family and I didn't like it at all. We didn't think it had much flavor at all. It was moist, crispy and juicy, but the flavor wasn't good. The thyme was overpowering. I don't know if you baked the chicken directly on the baking sheet and skipped the racks if it would have had more flavor from the juic"

This was very good. After reading the other reviews, I decided not to put everything in either. I put half a bag of cheese, 5 slices of bacon and half the can of onions and I thought it was fine. I think putting in the full amounts would have just been way over the top. It cooked faster than the time time on the recipe and would have been over"

Mar 29, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I made this with meatballs, but my family didn't like this sauce. Thought it was too thick, tomatoey and sweet. BUT, the next day I took the meatballs and the sauce and made meatball sandwiches by putting them on toasted sourdough bread with melted shredded cheddar cheese. You could also do this with sub rolls and it was AWESOME that way."
