My Activity

Reviewed Simple Perfect Enchiladas

"This was fantastic. The only change I made was I added about a half a packet of taco seasoning to the cooked, drained ground beef to give it a little more flavor. It was a little messy to make, but very good. The leftovers were even better the next day! A keeper!"

Reviewed The Lady and Sons Beef Vegetable Soup

"This soup was excellent. Great flavor, lots of spices and broth which i like. I didn't have a soup pot big enough, so be sure to use a LARGE soup pot. Mine was almost overflowing so I actually had to take out some of the broth. I used the potatoes, green beans, carrots, corn, peas, onions, macaroni and celery. There would have been plenty of "

Reviewed Grandmother Paula's Red Velvet Cake

"My daughter and I made this for her birthday. It was excellent, very moist with great flavor. I followed the recipe exactly, used unsalted butter. But I made regular cream cheese icing instead of the icing listed above after reading some of the reviews. I'll definitely be making this one again."

Reviewed Cream Cheese Frosting

"This will now be my go to recipe for cream cheese frosting! It was excellent. Very creamy and delicious, easy to make."

Reviewed Chicken Parm Meatball Subs

"I thought these were pretty good. I was surprised as I'm not a huge Rachel Ray fan, but we liked them. I did 1 lb. ground chicken and 1/2 pound mild italian sausage. They had good flavor and I liked the spice. I thought they were even better the next day as leftovers."

Reviewed Fried Onion Rings with Chili Sauce

"These onion rings were fantastic! The sauce is a must. The only thing I did different was I soaked the onions in buttermilk and then dredged them in the 2 cups of flour with the teaspoon of seasoned salt, then fried them. They were as good as any you would have in a restaurant, in fact they were better. My family loved them!"

Reviewed Oven-Fried Ranch Chicken

"This chicken was a big disappointment. My family and I didn't like it at all. We didn't think it had much flavor at all. It was moist, crispy and juicy, but the flavor wasn't good. The thyme was overpowering. I don't know if you baked the chicken directly on the baking sheet and skipped the racks if it would have had more flavor from the juic"

Reviewed Chocolate Trifle

"I made this for a church pot luck and it was a huge hit. Absolutely fantastic! I used cool whip and it was great."
