Reviewed Frisee Salad with Chorizo and Roasted Garlic Vinaigrette

"I tried just the garlic vinaigrette (without even roasting the garlic - used fresh minced) and it was fantastic! Used on a hot penne pasta dish which required "prepared garlic vinaigrette".""

Reviewed Roasted Chestnut Sausage Dressing

"This Dressing can totally hold its own as a meal alone. We got impatient and fixed it early for brunch. It works as a football treat or a breakfast too! Only takes one Trader Joes chestnut package. The veggies are hidden in the puree, so squeamish youngsters don't even know they're eating them. Very unusual, different and yummy! Will probably substitute other nuts next time.

Reviewed Homemade Salsa

"Hubby requests this every weekend for football! Followed another reviewer's excellent suggestion and use 2 TB grapeseed oil, 1 TB red wine vinegar, and 1 lime juiced with zest. Drain the canned tomatoes really well, they actually work better than fresh. Try your favs, like shallots, more garlic, jalopeno, serranos, cilantro. Best served at room temp. Very healthy!
