Reviewed Tapioca Cake

"We loved this cake!!! I couldn't find the WHITE cranberry juice so just used regular cranberry juice; other than that, the recipe was absolutely perfect as is and was soooooooooo easy!! Thanks, Sandra, as I can always count on you to bring me fantastic desserts that get rave reviews. Love your show, your tips, and your books, too!! Keep up the good work as you are my BFF. : )"

Reviewed Double Chocolate Gooey Butter Cakes

"Just simply DELISH!!! Paula, I made this recipe from your cookbook using a lemon cake mix and lemon juice!! Oh, my, this is almost sinful here during Lent. Our lunch started with your Bacon and Bean Soup (5*, too)out of your cookbook and ended with Lemon Gooy Butter Cakes---should've doubled the recipe on BOTH so there'd be leftovers. Thanks, Paula, for your wonderful SHOWS and COOKBOOKS!! You are #1 in our kitchen!! "

Reviewed Chicken Fajita Tortilla Soup

"Rach, this was absolutely delish!! Saw it on your show today and HAD to fix it. Altho' I didn't have the fresh peppers, I used a bag of frozen Birdseye Stir-Fry Peppers & Onions, added 1 medium white onion thinly sliced, and 1 teaspoon cumin. The soup was sooooo good and my husband loves it as it's perfect for a diabetic diet as well. This recipe has endless possibilities for tweaking as well; however, I doubt that any tweaking could make it more pleasing to our palettes than it already is. A KEEPER!!!! "

Reviewed Pot Roast

"Paula's Pot Roast is incredible!! My husband loved every bite and now wants pot roast once a week. I used beef broth in place of the wine and my slow cooker brought it to perfection--so tender, so flavorful, and would make any meal special!! I thickened the gravy with cornstarch and served it with mashed potatoes made with buttermilk, cream cheese, and chives. Thanks Paula!!"

Reviewed Gina's Memphis Mud Pie

"DECADENT, DELICIOUS, and DIVINELY easy!! Although I couldn't find the deep dish chocolate crust, I got the regular chocolate crust and put the leftover in a small dish and baked it along with the pie. WOW! I should've made TWO of these--loved by everyone! Gina's Mud Pie is going to replace my husband's birthday cake permanently!!"
